
It's only a matter of days until the Miss World Philippines crowns a new queen, and at the recently held charity gala at one of the metro's top malls, frontrunners have begun to emerge as the organization named the top delegates for multiple challenges.
The Miss World Philippines organization announced the top finalists for the pageant's multiple challenges, which include Dances of the Philippines, Miss Charity, Top Model, and Swimsuit.
The eight finalists for the Dances of the Philippines challenge are Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Miss Quezon City Asia Rose Simpson, Miss Rizal Province Lorraine Ojimba, Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West, Miss Zamboanga City Ansha Lichelle Jones, Miss Manila Anne de Mesa, and Miss Negros Island Region Cindy Valencia.
Meanwhile, the top four finalists for the Miss Charity title are Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Filipino Community of the United Kingdom representative Margarethe Elize Romano, Miss Iligan City Christal Briseis Peralta, and Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West.
Nine finalists were also named for the Top Model challenge, namely Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Miss Iligan City Christal Briseis Peralta, Filipino Community of New York representative Marizza Delgado, Miss Manila Anne de Mesa, Miss Rizal Province Lorraine Ojimba, Filipino Community of the United Kingdom representative Margarethe Elize Romano, Miss Quezon City Asia Rose Simpson, Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West, and Miss Pampanga Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia.
Finally, the nine finalists for the Swimsuit challenge were Filipino Community of New York representative Marizza Delgado, Miss Rizal Province Lorraine Ojimba, Filipino Community of the United Kingdom representative Margarethe Elize Romano, Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West, Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Miss Zamboanga City Ansha Lichelle Jones, Miss Quezon City Asia Rose Simpson, Miss Manila Anne de Mesa, and Miss Iligan City Christal Briseis Peralta.
The winners of all the categories will be announced during the Miss World Philippines coronation night set to happen on February 3, 2026, 7 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

A lot of the names announced during the charity gala have also been mentioned in other Miss World Philippines challenges. The organization recently released the top four names on its voting leaderboard. The queens in the lead are Davao Region representative Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Margarethe Romano from the Filipino Community United Kingdom, Miss Sultan Kudarat Olivia Grace Reilly, and Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West. Whoever wins the online vote advance straight to the pageant's top 10.
The week before that announcement, Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West and Miss Pampanga Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia were named the top two finalists of the Head to Head challenge, with the winning delegate securing an automatic place in the pageant semifinals during coronation night.
Both Valerie and Gabrielle were able to beat out six other finalists, namely Miss Manila Anne de Mesa, Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Miss Quezon City Asia Rose Simpson, Miss Rizal Province Lorraine Ojimba, Miss Naga City Zoe Sofia Gabon, and Miss Zamboanga City Ansha Lichelle Jones.
Aside from the Head to head challenge, the Miss World Philippines organization also named the top 11 finalists of its Beauty With A Purpose challenge.
The 11 queens are Miss Davao Region Jayvee Lyn Lorejo, Marizza Delgado representing the Filipino Community of New York, Margarethe Elize Romano representing the Filipino Community of the United Kingdom, Miss Ifugao Valerie Pawid West, Miss Iligan City Christal Briseis Polancos, Miss Malaybalay City, Bukidnon Gwen Marie Perion, Miss Negros Island Region Cindy Valencia, Miss Oriental Mindoro Ronette Castillo, Miss Quezon City Asia Rose Simpson, Miss Quezon Province Kiana Rose Henson, and Miss Zamboanga Peninsula Roveelaine Eve Castillo.
Just like the Head to Head challenge, the winning queen will be announced during the Miss World Philippines coronation night.
