Current reigning Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez is immediately using her crown for good as she mobilizes the non-government organization (NGO) she is a part of to help out the victims of Typhoon Carina.
In one of the more recent posts on the Colors of Kindness Instagram account, Krsihnah can be clearly seen handing out relief goods to victims of Typhoon Carina. Residents of Centella, Brgy. San Isidro, Montalban, Rizal received 150 relief packs from the NGO. The relief packs contain rice, canned goods, noodles, and sacks of dog and cat food.
During the height of Typhoon Carina and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, Krishnah Gravidez utilized her bank account for the Colors of Kindness call for relief goods. The call in particular called for financial support to buy food, water, medicines, and dog and cat food.
Krishnah's call for support for help came at the same time animal welfare groups called on Filipinos to include pets and animals in their evacuation plans.
Aside from Krishnah, another beauty queen that organized help for Typhoon Carina victims was Kapuso beauty queen and Philippine Red Cross ambassador Michelle Dee. Michelle posted on her official Instagram account boosting the efforts of the Philippine Red Cross as well as calling on her followers to do what they can to help “recover and rebuild”.
