Miss World Philippines postpones the coronation night due to the ECQ restrictions.
Miss World Philippines announced that the August 8 coronation night will be postponed.
The Miss World Philippines organization decided to postpone the coronation night due to the ECQ restrictions.
The organization's statement read, "In compliance with the government and IATF's new mandate for stricter ECQ restrictions in the NCR from August 6-20 due to the alarming upsurge in the COVID-19 caused by the Delta variant, the Miss World Philippines organization has decided to postpone its coronation night indefinitely until further notice."
The Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night was initially scheduled last July 25.
Then, the pageant was moved to August 8.
However, due to the latest restrictions due to COVID-19 protocols, it will be postponed to an indefinite date.
