Pageant aficionados need to gear up for the pageant season as one of the country's top pageants is set to present its candidates to the press and the public tomorrow.
In one of the most recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss World Philippines organization announced the press presentation of the candidates for the 2026 Miss World Philippines pageant. The presentation will be held at Okada Manila tomorrow, January 16, at 2 p.m.
In the caption, the organization described the presentation as “the beginning of a transformative journey where elegance meets impact, and where every candidate stands not only for beauty, but for a purpose greater than herself.”
The candidates will compete for the Miss World Philippines crown, with the coronation night scheduled for February 3, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Aside from the Miss World Philippines crown, the organization shared that coronation night will also see two women crowned as Universal Woman Philippines and Miss Global Philippines.
The Miss World Philippines organization held its final screenings last year. The Mr. World Philippines organization also held its final screenings on the same day.
Miss World Philippines is currently looking for the successor to reigning Miss World Asia Krishnah Gravidez, who has remained busy during her reign. In November last year, Krishnah highlighted several legitimate donation drives being conducted by different organizations to help victims of Typhoons Tino and Uwan.
Among the organizations featured in her post were the Angat Buhay Foundation, the Kaya Natin Movement, and Ateneo de Manila University.
Also in November, Krishnah spent time at the dog adoption service House of Hounds in the United Arab Emirates.
Aside from visiting House of Hounds, Krishnah also hosted Pawssion Project's Pawchella, a benefit concert for the animals under the NGO's care.
In September, Krishnah joined a breast cancer run held at People's Plaza, Necklace Road, in Hyderabad, India, alongside reigning Miss World Opal Suchata, Miss World chair Julia Morley, and her fellow continental winners.
