Cebu-based band Missioned Souls takes their family-friendly entertainment to America.

Missioned Souls, a Filipino family band from Cebu City, is set to introduce its music and message to a wider audience. The six-member group embarks on its first-ever concert tour in the United States in September.

Unlike many music groups formed by producers or talent agencies, Missioned Souls is composed of real-life family members. The band is made up of father Secan, mother Sheena, and their four children—Naces, Neisha, Stacey, and Isaiah—who have built a following by performing together while promoting family unity, faith, and wholesome entertainment.

The family describes its mission as more than simply making music.

"We are a family commissioned to propagate the importance of family unity by showing love and respect to each family member and to one another. We put into action our God-given gifts to bring joy and fun into other people's lives through music."

Each member of the family plays a key role in the band. Secan serves as bassist while also handling sound and mixing duties. Sheena leads the group with her vocals, while Naces showcases his keyboard skills and also plays bass guitar. Neisha performs on both rhythm and lead guitar, with bass as her first instrument, while Stacey contributes vocals and alternates between rhythm and bass guitar. The youngest member, Isaiah, has earned the nickname "Little Drummer Boy" from fans for his energetic performances behind the drums.

Their performances are anchored in values of faith, respect, joy, and gratitude, with the family viewing their musical talents as blessings they use to inspire audiences.

Over the years, Missioned Souls has steadily gained an international following through social media without the backing of a major record label or large-scale promotional campaigns.

Their online presence now includes more than 328,000 YouTube subscribers; over 63,000 TikTok followers with more than 500,000 likes; more than 16,000 Instagram followers; and a highly engaged Facebook community.

Their videos have reached viewers across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia, helping introduce international audiences to their distinctly Filipino musical style.

"We're very grateful," the family said about their gained popularity abroad.

Their father, Secan, also said that when asked what changed in their lives: "We doubled the fun."

Concert producer Lerma dela Cruz said the band's expanding fan base among both Filipinos and non-Filipinos prompted her to organize Missioned Souls' U.S. tour.

“From the very beginning, hindi ko talaga sila kilala," she confessed. "When I went to Texas, may mga nagsabi sa akin, maga non-Filipino, 'Have you heard of the Missioned Souls?' 'Tapos, pinanood nila sa akin sa YouTube, nakita ko, ang galing."

She noted that during her travels in the U.S., she noticed the demand to see the band perform live. "So, sabi ko, kunin ko na nga ito."

Aside from foreigners, the producer also mentioned, "Next target ko is makilala sila ng Filipino community ng Amerika."

The band's first U.S. tour will include three performances in Texas, two in New Mexico, and one in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The upcoming shows mark a major milestone as they bring their music and advocacy for family unity to American audiences.
