The Mister Pilipinas Worldwide has had a good track record when it comes to international male beauty pageants. Back in 2024, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide's Dom Corilla won the Mister Global pageant, besting 31 other candidates and became the first-ever titleholder from the Philippines.
It was also that same year that Status by Sparkle star and former Mister Supranational Philippines Brandon Espiritu ended up second runner-up in the Mister Supranational pageant, making him the most successful delegate the country has sent to the Mister Supranational pageant.
Just last year, the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide organization fielded Kirk Bondad to the Mister International competition, eventually winning the crown.
At the start of this new year, Kirk shared some advice for male beauty titlists looking to him for words of wisdom.
According to Kirk, what catches his attention is not so much the person's answer, but how they say it, as he is looking for “raw authentic conviction.” Kirk further explained that pageantry is a sport, and that aspiring pageants queens and kings should consider themselves as athlete and conviction as their discipline.
“Absolute conviction to a point of delusion conditions yourself to follow through no matter what,” he wrote in the caption to his Instagram post.
