Male beauty pageant aspirants can now try their luck with the Mr. World Philippines pageant.
Men looking to represent the country in international male beauty pageants now have an opportunity to do so as the Mr. World Philippines organization is now accepting applications.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Mr. World Philippines organization announced that they are looking for the “next man to carry the crown and represent the Philippines on the global pageant stage.”
In the caption to the post, the organization shared that it is open to applications from “seasoned” contenders as well as to those new to the male beauty pageant scene. The Mr. World Philippines organization also provided a link to application forms as well as instructions to applicants to send one full body shot, one swimwear photo, and one headshot. Deadline for applications is August 30, 2025.
These new applicants will be following in the footsteps of Mr. World Philippines 2024 Kirk Bondad, who finished in the Top 20.
During his run in the Mr. World Philippines pageant, Kirk placed in the Top 12 of the Mister World Top Model competition. Kirk was commended by Mr. World Philippines for showcasing Filipino craftsmanship by wearing a suit made by designer Francis Libiran.
The closest the country has come to winning the Mr. World pageant was back in 2012 when Andrew Wolff placed first runner-up to Mr. Colombia Francisco Javier Escobar Parra.
Since his Mr. World Philippines stint, Kirk has gone on to compete in the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant, ending up as one of the 2025 winners alongside Mister Supranational 2025 Kenneth Cabungcal, 2025 Mister Pilipinas Global Jether Palomo, 2025 Mister Pilipinas Manhunt International Raven Lansangan, 2025 Mister Eco International Kitt Cortez, 2025 Man of the Year Angelo Toledo, and 2025 Mister Cosmopolitan Kenneth Marcelino.
