The Metro Manila Film Festival has announced the 'Magic 8' entries for the first 2020 Summer Film Festival.

Kapuso Primetime King and Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation) star Dingdong Dantes's film 'A Hard Day' with seasoned actor John Arcilla is one of the entries.

On Instagram, Dingdong shared the good news. “Pasok po kami sa magic 8! Honored to be part of this summer's MMFF2020,” he wrote in the caption.

Also included in the 'Magic 8' are 'Isa Pang Bahaghari' starring Superstar Nora Aunor and Sanya Lopez, 'Ngayon Kaya' starring Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino, and 'Tagpuan' starring Alfred Vargas, Iza Calzado, and Shaina Magdayao.

Completing the list are 'Love The Way You Lie' starring Alex Gonzaga, Xian Lim, and Kylie Verzosa, 'Love or Money' starring Coco Martin and Angelica Panganiban, 'Coming Home' starring Jinggoy Estrada and Sylvia Sanchez, and 'The Missing' starring Joseph Marco, Ritz Azul, and Miles Ocampo.

The inaugural Summer edition of the MMFF will run from April 11 to 21, 2020.
