Son of actress Marina Benipayo, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide national director Joshua de Sequera, popped the question to his girlfriend Judy Takeuchi while taking a vacation in Boracay.
Model and runway coach Joseph de Sequera made things official after getting engaged to be married to his girlfriend, Judy Takeuchi.
The national director of Mister Pilipinas Worldwide announced the exciting news on social media, alongside a video showing him giving his now-fiancee hints before popping the question while taking a vacation in Boracay.
In the caption, Joshua couldn't contain his happiness after Judy said "yes" to his wedding proposal.
He wrote, "I can't explain how relieved I was when I heard those words come out of her mouth.
"After weeks of stressful planning and the fear that she might say "No" I can finally say that I'm engaged to my best friend.
"It's true what they say, that when you find the "One" you'll know, everything in life has a purpose, every decision you make revolves around that person.
"I'm not really a fan of long captions so let me just end it with this. "If you know, you know."
Meanwhile, Judy shared a set of photos on Facebook, showing off her engagement ring.
"GUYSSSS, I just got promoted!!!!" she captioned the post with white heart, crying, and ring emojis.
A former volleyball player of the College of Saint Benilde Blazers, Joshua won first runner-up in the Manhunt International 2022 competition.
Joshua is the son of actress Marina Benipayo who currently stars in the GMA Prime action series Sanggang-Dikit FR.
