On the December 4 episode of Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation), Maxine (Jennylyn Mercado) contemplated on telling Lucas (Dingdong Dantes) the truth when the latter showed her Rodel's (Neil Ryan Sese) picture to confirm if he was the rebel guy she was with earlier.

Lucas was all ears when Maxine was hinting on revealing what she discovered. In the end, she changed her mind and just told Lucas that she would always be there for him.

Meanwhile, Moira (Jasmine Curtis-Smith) was still recovering from the infection. Lt. Col. Defensor (Ricardo Cepeda) visited her and apologized to her. When Moira asked what it was for, her father said that she was in pain because of him but he didn't explain further, leaving Moira puzzled.

Diego (Rocco Nacino) finally mustered enough courage to face Moira, but the latter just sent him away. Moira was still hurting from their break-up prompted by Diego.

Her blood pressure suddenly dropped. When the medical team looked for Maxine, she was already missing.

Maxine went to the woods again to meet Rodel.
