Consequently, Encantadiks here and abroad eagerly awaits the official announcement of the Kapuso Network on who will fill in the roles of the iconic Sang’gres namely Pirena, Amihan, Alena and Danaya.
Former Encantadia actress Empress Schuck, who played the role of the Young Cassiopeia, cannot help but feel nostalgic.
In her post on Instagram, she went on to express her gratitude to Direk Mark Reyes and GMA-7 for casting her and giving her the opportunity to showcase her talents.
Empress said, "Speaking of the 2016 comeback of Encantadia, I remember playing the role of young Cassiopeia. It was supposed to be a one day taping and guesting but Direk Mark Reyes was extra nice to me and made my role longer than expected and even casted me as one of the main casts in Etheria. GMA will always have a place in my heart. No bias, just speaking my heart out. I'm so thankful for everyone in the industry not just Kapuso but all the other networks and people who helped me in achieving my dreams. I will always be grateful to each of them no matter what."
At the moment, GMA-7 has only confirmed that Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera will be part of Encantadia as Ynang Reyna, the Queen of Lireo.
