MONSTA X's second full-length English album 'The Dreaming' is set to release on December 10.
In an interview, MONSTA X revealed why they chose to release an English-language album.
"The first album 'All About Luv,' we wanted to show ourselves on the stage. But this time, since the situation is bad, I mean like [a[ pandemic, we wanted to communicate with an international language which is English, that's why we are dropping our album," I.M explained.
'The Dreaming' consists of 10 tracks, including MONSTA X's recent English single "One Day."
"Since it's jam-packed with 10 songs, I think it'll be lots of fun to listen to. Our first full English-language album 'All About Luv' received so much love from both domestic and overseas fans to the point where people often told us that it was an amazing album," Joohoney shared.
"This is an album (The Dreaming) that we thought a lot about because we didn't want to let them down. We know that [our fans] always tell us we're doing well and are the best, but we wanted to show a result that lives up to that. It's an album that fully captures MONSTA X's genre and musicality, so I hope Monbebes and all listeners listen carefully," he added.
On December 8, MONSTA X will be sharing a concert film of 'The Dreaming' in South Korea. The concert film will be available for streaming worldwide on December 9 and 11.
MONSTA X is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival program "NO.MERCY" under Starship Entertainment. The members consist of Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyunwon, Joohoney, and I.M.
