Morissette x Morichette (Michael V.)! Asia's Phoenix Morissette reacts to Direk Bitoy's viral 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumigay' MV.
Michael V. earned lots of praise when he unveiled the parody song "Gusto Ko Nang Bumigay" in the 27th anniversary special of Bubble Gang in 2022.
"Gusto Ko Nang Bumigay" is a song inspired the OPM hit "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw", which was first sang by Sheryn Regis and later on Asia's Phoenix Morissette also did her own version of this powerful ballad.
During the sidelines of her "EMBER" media conference last October 1 at Newport Mall, Morissette recalled seeing the viral parody of Direk Michael.
In her exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the multi-talented diva described Bitoy's creativity on a whole other level.
She said, “Honestly po hands down yung [creativity]. Grabe 'yung naisip niya na quick change siya nang quick change kada bitaw, quick change talaga nakakatawa.”
This October, Bubble Gang is celebrating its 30th anniversary via a grand concert.
Aside from Michael V., the Pambansang comedy show mainstays include Paolo Contis, Chariz Solomon, Analyn Barro, Betong Sumaya, EA Guzman, Kokoy de Santos, Buboy Villar, Cheska Fausto, and Matt Lozano.
