Three months after her wedding, Cha Chung-hwa announces her pregnancy.
South Korean actress Cha Chung-hwa is expecting her first child as she announced her pregnancy last on Wednesday, January 24.
The Mr Queen star's agency, IOK Company, shared the happy news with a simple statement that read: “Cha Chung Hwa is pregnant.”
Further details about her pregnancy were withheld by the company because, according to the statement, “It is difficult to disclose details about the actress' personal life.”
Cha Chung-hwa got married to a non-celebrity, who was two years younger than her, last October 27 in Seoul, South Korea.
The Korean actress debuted as a theater star way back in 2005 with the play Backstreet Story. After some time, she entered the entertainment industry with minor roles in movies like Harmony (2010), and As One (2012). From then on, her career bloomed, and was included in several famous Korean shows like Crash Landing on You, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, See You in My 19th Life, and the recent drama, My Demon.
Cha Chung-hwa also starred in Mr. Queen as the iconic character Court Lady Choi. The said Korean drama series aired on GMA.
Recognized for her amazing acting skills, the Korean star gathered awards and nominations in annual ceremonies like Baeksang Arts Awards and MBC Drama Awards as Best Supporting Actress.
