It's been less than a week since Mujigae premiered on Netflix and already it's making a mark on the streaming platform.
In his most recent Instagram Story, South Korean Sparkle artist Kim Ji Soo uploaded a screenshot of the Mujigae Netflix title card showing that the movie is currently number two in the movies section of the streaming giant. Ji Soo tagged Netflix Philippines and wrote “Maraming salamat po.”

Mujigae is a Filipino movie shown last year that starred Ji Soo, Alexa Ilacad, and child star Ryrie Sophia. Ji Soo played the absentee Korean father of Mujigae, played by Ryrie.
Ji Soo had earlier told GMANetwork.com last year that he wanted his portrayal to show the positive side of Korean parents in Mujigae.
"I also watched a documentary about 'Kopino.' Actually it was kind of negative way so I want to show them it could be positive way," he shared.
Aside from Mujigae's good performance on Netflix, Ji Soo also recently surprised fans with a TikTok collaboration with Kapuso star Barbie Forteza. The pair took part in the “Do you feel better?” TikTok trend.

He also landed the three year-end covers of lifestyle magazine Rank and even shared the inside photos on his Instagram account.
