Actress Liu Yifen wore a couture gown with phoenix motif in the 'Mulan' premiere.
Actress Liu Yifei had a fashion moment at the premiere night of Disney's live-action remake of Mulan in Los Angeles last Monday, March 9.
The actress wore a gold Elie Saab gown with a rising phoenix motif rendered in gold embroidery and sequins.
The movie premiere was also attended by the cast and esteemed guests such as Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Tzi Ma, Jet Li, singer Christina Aguilera, and director Niki Caro.
Liu Yifei plays the titular character in the film which is based on the well-loved Disney cartoon flick back in 1998.
According to reports, the actress was chosen out of a pool of 1,000 other actresses after a year-long casting process.
The movie will hit Philippine theaters on March 25.
