Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza feels she lives in a box, and is unhappy about it, “I have not been able to do what I want and say what I feel because every time I try to express my thoughts and feelings, some of you tend to misapprehend and invalidate them in so many ways.”

The Eat Bulaga darling feels some people who surround her are entitled, not only with her career choices, but when it comes to her personal life as well. She questioned, “Pagmamay-ari ba nila buong pagkatao ko para diktahan ako sa halos lahat ng bagay? Ganun ba dapat kapag mahal mo yung tao? Susubukan mong kontrolin ng naaayon sa kagustuhan mo? Dahil tingin mo yun yung tama? Dahil tingin mo doon siya liligaya?”

What the young actress wants out of life is freedom and genuine happiness, and not money or fame. At the end of the day, what matters is, she does what makes her happy with the people who love her dearly such as her family and friends.
