Sunshine's latest post on her Instagram shows how strong a woman she is.
Kapuso star Sunshine Dizon broke her silence about her marital issue with husband Timothy Tan last week, and she has since filed a case against him.
The Encantadia star admitted that she is going through a tough battle in her life right now. Although she is trying to keep things private on her personal life, her status as a celebrity makes it hard since she is under the public eye.
The actress said on social media that she will update everyone in due time, “Please bear with me in this difficult situation as [I am] preparing for battle. Hindi ko po ipagkakait sa inyo ang mga mangyayari sa buhay ko at sa [pinaglalaban] ko legally. Makakaasa po kayo na magsasalita ako ng katotohanan lamang sa tamang panahon.”
It is her fans’ overwhelming support as well as the women who share the same situation as hers that inspires Sunshine to fight for her right. She said, “As a wife and mother who uncovered lies, hindi po tama siguro na ako ay manahimik lamang, and I assure everyone that I will finish this legal battle until the end.”
It breaks her heart that a lot of women who confided to her remain silent despite being a victim of abuse. All the more she is encouraged to go to court, “I hope one day my story becomes your story, a story of courage. This is not my fight anymore, but also your fight.”
She thanked everyone for standing up with her as she doesn’t feel alone in this fight, “I would like to thank everyone sa lahat ng suporta at pagmamahal na pinaparamdam ninyo sa akin kasama ng mga anak ko.”
