Kakai Bautista shared her bikini photo to promote being body-positive.
The Dental Diva came from a recent beach trip and had her photo snapped in a two-piece swimsuit. She posted it on Instagram to also address body shamers.
Kakai wrote, “I love my curves. It means happiness to me. A proof that I have enjoyed all the food I wanted to eat. My tummy and heart are happy.”
“I pity those [who] body shame people in social media, in public. Those who bash other people because of their looks,” she added.
The comedienne admitted how she fell victim to these bashers, but also claimed that she will no longer have their negative comments affect her.
“When they don’t see beauty in others, they don’t see beauty in them. They are not my people. I have no room for those kind. I love myself the way my people are loving it. We live by gratefulness. We spark the drama but do not light them. We are not perfect but we aim for perfection. We triumph in defeat and win humility. We fall and stand up. We try to live by living, and to love by loving and giving,” Kakai said.
“We all stay and stand for love. Begin with yourself by appreciating you, because there is no “we” with you,” she concluded.
