What was supposed to be a surprise birthday party for Rodjun Cruz turned out to be a surprise engagement party for Dianne Medina.

The actress-host really had no idea that her boyfriend of 10 years would propose to her on his 30th birthday celebration in Boracay.

After everyone sang a birthday song for the actor, Rodjun suddenly dropped on one knee, and Dianne got the surprise of her life.

Rodjun told Dianne, “Baby, we’ve been together for 10 years now, and I want to take our relationship to the next level. Baby, thanks talaga sa lahat. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for not giving up on me through ups and downs. Pinapangako ko sa iyo na I’ll be the best man for you. Hanggang ngayon, nagpapasalamat ako kay Lord dahil binigay ka niya sa akin. Gagawin ko ang lahat para sa iyo. Alam mo naman na ‘di ko kayang mabuhay sa mundo na ito kung wala ka. Baby, excited ako para sa magiging future natin. Excited ako to be in the future with you. Kagaya ng palagi kong sinasabi sa iyo, I promise to take care of you, make you happy, and love you forever. Mahal na mahal kita, Baby. Maria Patricia Dianne Medina, will you marry me?”

Dianne, who is also 30 years old, couldn’t stop crying. Her reply made everyone laugh, “Yes, ang tanda ko na.”
