With his gigs canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the founder and guitarist of OPM band MYMP Chin Alcantara has decided to put up his own food business.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Chin shared that due to the pandemic, his life has greatly changed all of a sudden.

“Ang trabaho ko talaga, tumugtog. Halos everyday dati tumutugtog kami. Bigla na lang isang iglap, nawala lahat 'yon,” he said.
Since his livelihood is one of the most affected industries during the pandemic, Chin and his wife launched an online food business which sells milk tea and some Filipino favorites such as beef sisig, barbecue, and buttered chicken, among others.

The musician likewise admitted that his pride took a hit at first, but his desire to provide for his family won over. Now, he happily delivers orders from their customers.
Meanwhile, a few photos featuring Chin while delivering orders went viral recently as one of his supporters recognized him.
