The Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 house got a dose of star power after Nadine Lustre made a surprise visit to Bahay ni Kuya.

The actress spent time with the housemates, candidly answering their questions about acting, life in showbiz, and the importance of self-confidence.

Princess Aaliyah was quick to share her admiration for Nadine, “Tinatawag kang President Nadine for a reason, bukod sa sobrang ganda niyo, kung paano niyo rin po dinadala sarili niyo.”

She then opened up about self-confidence, a topic many teenagers struggle with, and asked the houseguest for advice on how to stay grounded and confident despite outside pressure.

Nadine responded honestly, sharing that self-doubt is something she still deals with even now.

“I still go through with it even until now. I think it's just that I learned how to deal with it,” she said.

The Call Me Mother star went on to explain that she experienced an identity crisis herself when she was younger, especially during her teenage years.

“Introverted talaga 'ko. I've always had a hard time interacting with new people,” Nadine shared, as she reflected on her journey toward self-discovery and growth.

Her candid answers resonated with the housemates, offering reassurance that self-confidence is something that develops over time, and that even public figures continue to work on it.

Nadine also discussed how entering showbiz at a young age pushed her into situations she wasn't prepared for, forcing her to adapt quickly.

“Nung nag-showbiz ako, alam mo 'yung nilagay ka sa spot na hindi ka ready. So, I had to learn how to talk to people, I had to learn how to carry myself,” she added.

"'Tapos ayun, nagkaroon ako ng identity crisis kasi 'pag nasa harap ako ng camera, ibang tao ako, tapos 'pag nasa bahay lang ako, ibang tao din ako. Sobrang na-confuse ako nun kasi hindi ko na alam kung sino 'yung totoong ako at some point.”

For Nadine, moments like these are a natural part of growing up, especially for teenagers still figuring out who they are.

“Actually, kahit nung 20-plus na 'ko, confused pa rin ako kung sino ba talaga 'ko,” she noted.

She added that self-discovery doesn't stop at a certain age. “And I think that's a normal thing kasi as humans, we keep growing, di ba? And we keep learning new things about ourselves.”

Nadine encouraged the housemates to embrace uncertainty instead of fighting it. She advised them to “just go with it” and never to feel embarrassed about their struggles.

“Kasi eventually, ma-re-realize mo na oh okay, I needed to go through that confusion to learn who I really am,” Nadine explained.

Looking back on her own journey, she acknowledged that even painful moments had value.

“Kahit 'yung mga experiences ko nasaktan ako or may mali akong ginawa, may mga lessons kasi 'yun lahat. I think you just have to allow yourself to go through it kasi, eventually, when you get older, you'll understand that it was necessary.”
