Nadine Samonte weighs in on the advantages and disadvantages of her showbiz hiatus
As she gears up for her role as Nona in The Missing Husband, actress Nadine Samonte reflects on her years of taking a break from showbiz and focusing on her family.
Nadine's previous television role was as Princess in the Palace in 2016.
In an episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, she was asked to react to people saying that had she stayed on with her career in GMA, she would probably be as big as Jennylyn Mercado.

Nadine pondered on the question and gave her honest opinion. "I agree and disagree, Tito Boy. Kasi I agree na parang minsan naiisip ko, 'Sayang, sana-nag-stay ako.' Pero I disagree kasi hindi ko nakilala 'yung asawa ko."
Nadine and her husband Richard Chua secretly got married in October 2013. They revealed their marriage a year later. Nadine and Richard welcomed their children Heather Sloane in August 2016, son Augustus Titus in April 2019, and Harmony Saige in December 2021.
