D-Day has come for the fans of Korean actor Nam Joo-hyuk with his impending military enlistment slated today, March 20.

Last month, several Korean entertainment sites already reported a confirmation from Joo-hyuk's agency Management SOOP that he was accepted into the military police force.

As of this morning, the name of Nam Joo-hyuk is one of the top trending topics on Twitter Philippines with fans wishing him well.

One even tweeted, “stay healthy, jjwogi. we'll be waiting for you with the usual love.”

Meanwhile, another netizen left a comment on his last Instagram post saying, “Goodbye for now, and be safe. I wish you the best in these next few years. Know, you have many ppl who love you.”

Joo-hyuk was part of the K-drama series Scarlet Heart and Bride of the Water God. He also acted in the hit romcom series Start-Up alongside Kim Seon-ho and Bae Suzy. GMA Network produced a Pinoy adaptation of the popular series with Sparkle heartthrob Jeric Gonzales bagging the role of Nam Do-san.

Joining Jeric in this project, which ended its run in December 2022, were Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards and multi-awarded TV-movie idol Bea Alonzo.
