Former Encantadia star and TV host Nancy Castiglione sat-down with the King of Talk Boy Abunda in an enriching interview in his high rating showbiz talk show yesterday, November 4.
Nancy, who was also the 'OG' host of StarStruck, was asked by Tito Boy if she was able to reunite with her showbiz friends now that she is in the Philippines. The celebrity mom left show business in 2009 to focus on her twin boys.
In her chat, Nancy admitted that she couldn't maintain her connections with her friends, since she made a decision to prioritize her family.
“That's one of my weaknesses is when I became a mom, I really focused on being a mom,” she admitted. “And pinabayaan ko siguro 'yung mga friendships ko, kasi being a mom was new to me [and] kambal pa 'di ba? Nakatutok talaga ako sa pagiging ina.
“And so, I didn't keep those relationships strong, I didn't do the work to maintain those relationships.”
Boy then interjected: “It's not too late.”
The actress replied, “No, but a blessing of social media is I get to watch them from afar and I get to celebrate their wins as a fan or watching you know, yung mga wins nila on social media or yung mga projects nila. Their courage, you know, some of them I mean si Cheka (Chesca Kramer) is doing amazing. She is an amazing mom di ba?”
Nancy Castiglione is a mom to three children. She has her twin boys, named Matteo and Joaquin, and a daughter named Riley Brooke, who was born in 2015.
