NCT member Jaehyun is making his movie debut soon.
An exclusive report from Star News confirmed that Jaehyun has been cast as the lead actor for the upcoming film You'll Die in 6 Hours. SM Entertainment shared a brief statement on his film debut, saying "Jaehyun will be appearing in You'll Die In 6 Hours."
Additional details reveal that Jaehyun will play the role of Junwoo, a man who can predict other people's deaths.
No premiere date has been confirmed as of writing. You'll Die in 6 Hours is based on a novel of the same name, written by Kazuaki Takano.
Jaehyun joined SM Entertainment in 2012 after being discovered by street scouts in front of his school. Prior to his debut, he was known for appearing in various remake music videos such as H.O.T's "Hope" and Kim Minkyo's "The Last Game." On December 9, 2013, he was introduced as a member of the pre-debut trainee team SMROOKIES. In April 2016, Jaehyun officially debuted as a member of NCT.
He made his acting debut as the male lead in the drama Dear M in 2022. Jaehyun is also well-known in the fashion industry and has been selected as a PRADA brand ambassador.
In April 2023, Jaehyun debuted under the NCT subunit called DoJaeJung along with NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo.
DoJaeJung visited the Philippines in July 2023 for their "Perfume Fancon in Manila."
