NCT member Taeyong is gearing up for a solo project this year

NCT leader Taeyong is releasing his first solo album soon.

On May 3, Korean media outlet Sports Chosun reported that NCT's music label SM Entertainment confirmed Taeyong will release his first solo album some time in early June. He is currently filming his music video for his title track and is in the final stages of preparation for his solo album.

"Taeyong is preparing for his first solo album release in June. Please look forward to it."

Taeyong will be the first official member of NCT to release a solo album with multiple songs. In the past, NCT members such as Mark, Ten, Jaehyun, Taeil, and Doyoung have each released solo songs through SM Station or OSTs. After the successful debut of NCT DoJaeJung, Taeyong will follow that up with NCT's first soloist.
