There have been several other viral posts in the past about food delivery riders being forced to either consume cancelled orders or sell them to passers-by.

And, Filipino netizens seem to have grown tired of seeing this kind of scenario happening repeatedly, that's why a new Facebook page called Order Hero has been created to help out food delivery riders, whose orders have been cancelled.

In the said Facebook group, riders of Grab Food, Foodpanda, Lalamove, and Angkas Food can post about cancelled orders that they want to be saved, then 'order heroes' who are interested to buy the cancelled orders can reply to the riders' posts.

This way, the riders will not have to worry about paying for the cancelled orders, and at the same time, order heroes get to have food delivered at their doorstep. It's definitely a win-win situation.
