After taking on various roles in four afternoon soaps, she entered the primetime scene as Ester Paredes in Super Twins, which served as a springboard for a larger fan base. Playing a mother to twins in the series, Marian had people surprised that someone so young could pull off such a mature character. The true test of her acting prowess, however, came when she auditioned for the meatiest role any Pinay actress could ever hope for.
