new normal clothing

Dr. Winlove Mojica reminds public to wear proper clothing during pandemic.

Social media's “skin sensei” Dr. Winlove Mojica gave some clothing tips while slowly transitioning to the "new normal" phase on Unang Hirit on Tuesday, June 9.

Due to the health threat of COVID-19 , people are planning to get sets of personal protective equipment (PPEs), which they will use when they go back to work under general community quarantine (GCQ).

But according to Dr. Winlove, wearing such might only worsen the risk of contracting the virus.

He also related that there is a method of wearing PPE.

“What is necessary is you wear your face mask,” he added.

Here are Dr. Winlove's tips for your safe yet still fashionable clothing amidst the pandemic:

1. Button down shirts with short sleeves
2. Drawstring pants
3. Canvas shoes
4. Rubber shoes with rubber sole
5. Simple accessories (stud or flat earrings)
6. Clean hairstyle
a. For girls: top knot hairstyle
b. For boys: very short hair
7. Fabric bags
