NewJeans

NewJeans summer core unlocked.

Bunnies, your favorite K-pop girl group NewJeans is gradually making their highly-anticipated comeback as they pre-release their title track “Super Shy” from their upcoming EP Get Up.

In case you missed it, Minji, Hannie, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein recently announced that they'll be making their much-awaited return to the music industry with a new mini-album. Get Up is set to be released on July 21, 2023, and will feature triple title tracks.

NewJeans has amped up the festivities and dropped the music video of their pre-released title track “Super Shy.” The lyrics of the song tell the story of a super shy person who likes another individual who doesn't even know she exists. Despite being too nervous to admit it, she expresses her feelings and makes a move.

The accompanying music video veers away from NewJeans's previous dark concepts and takes on a light, bright, and summer vibe. Set in sunny USA, Minji, Hannie, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein groove to the summer tune and showcase their bold and confident moves.

Before dropping “Super Shy,” NewJeans also released their song “New Jeans” in collaboration with the iconic cartoon series The Powerpuff Girls. The accompanying music video saw the members as new characters from the series.

Get Up will also include other tracks such as “ETA,” “Cool With You,” “Get Up, and “ASAP.”

We can't wait to hear the rest of NewJeans's discography and, once again, rave over their new music. Despite making their debut only in 2022, NewJeans has instantly become global sensations with their tracks “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” and “Ditto” dominating across the world.
