
BUNNIES, this is not a drill. Fourth-generation K-pop girl group NewJeans is finally making their highly-anticipated comeback as they unveil the release date of their upcoming EP Get Up.
ADOR, NewJeans's agency, announced the good news on various social media platforms and revealed that the super rookie girl group will be releasing their second mini-album Get Up on July 21, 2023.
The upcoming album is in time with their first anniversary as a girl band and is said to feature six new tracks including “New Jeans,” “Super Shy,” “ETA,” “Cool With You,” “Get Up,” and “ASAP.”
According to ADOR, “Super Shy,” “ETA,” and “Cool With You” will serve as the new mini-album's triple title tracks and will each be released with accompanying music videos.
The global sensation K-pop girl group, comprising members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, also collaborated with the iconic cartoon series THE POWERPUFF GIRLS to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary. The first track on their newest album “New Jeans” is said to have an accompanying music video that will highlight this collaboration.
It was reported that “New Jeans” and “Super Shy” will be pre-released on July 7, 2023. After making their debut last July 2022, NewJeans took the world by storm with their songs “Hype Boy,” “Attention,” and “Ditto.” That's why we have high expectations for the new album.
But NewJeans aren't only dominating the realm of K-pop and music, they have also cemented their stance in the sphere of haute couture as each of them becomes brand ambassadors of high fashion brands. They also partnered up with brands such as McDonald's and Levi's for various campaigns.
Truly, NewJeans is on a roll and we won't see them winding down for quite some time.
