For the longest time, Alfred Vargas was just one of the guests who constantly appeared on Nuts Entertainment. Now, with the reinvention of the program, Alfred has been absorbed as one of the mainstays. Find out from Alfred himself what it’s like to move from regular guest to mainstay host. “I was telling myself before na if there’s a KiliTV show that I would like to be part of, it’s Nuts Entertainment,” Alfred Vargas shares with iGMA during their dinner break. He is completely at ease with the staff and his co-stars, owing to the fact that he is quite familiar with everyone already. It’s already been a few episodes since Alfred formally joined the cast of Nuts Entertainment with newcomer Joyce Jimenez, and so far the feedback from viewers and co-stars alike have been good. And while it’s evident that Alfred is enjoying himself immensely, there’s still something to be said about hearing him say the words himself. “I’m really very happy to be part of the Nuts Entertainment,” Alfred affirms. “Kasi puro games lang siya, and the worst thing that can happen to you is to have a pie on your face. And it’s fun!” He also adds, “So just for the fact that it’s fun, and it’s with Tito Joey de Leon, sila Janno (Gibbs) and Anjo (Yllana), sobrang okay na for me.” With his addition to the cast, expect more out-of-this-world physical challenges from the program. As for what to expect from Alfred in the show, “’Abangan nila (ang) lighter side of Alfred,” he declares. “Kasi it’s a side of me that they do not see at all. Puro serious ‘yung roles ko, pero dito they can basically see me as Alfred.” Catch more of Alfred in the last weeks of Muli, and every Wednesday on the naughtier Nuts Entertainment.
