SEVENTEEN

It hasn't even been 24 hours since they released 'FML' and the boys have already sold four million copies!

Carats from different parts of the world rejoice! K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN's highly-anticipated comeback can officially be branded successful as their new mini-album broke numerous charts and records.

SEVENTEEN released FML and the music video of their title track “Super” yesterday, April 24, 2023, at 6 p.m. (KST). On the first day of the new EP's release, the boy band was already able to sell more than 4 million copies.

According to Hanteo Chart (a chart that records physical album sales in South Korea), SEVENTEEN's FML became the fastest-selling album not just in Korea but worldwide. Forbes reports that the new album occupies the top four spots on the Hanteo chart. The standard edition of the EP had the most number of sales with over 2 million copies having been sold. The Carat version, on the other hand, sold almost 1.5 million copies.

Before even the new album was released, SEVENTEEN already broke the record for the highest stock pre-orders achieved in K-pop history. The numbers went up to 4.64 million and exceeds SEVENTEEN's previous first-week sales record of 2,067,769 copies with their fourth studio album Face The Sun.

Apart from this achievement, SEVENTEEN's title track “Super” is already placed at No.1 on numerous streaming platforms. As of this writing, the music video of “Super” has already garnered 16 million views. It's giving off best album of the year vibes. Truly, the SEVENTEEN crew including Carats is the best team ever!
