Tony Award winner Lea Salonga and the U.S.-based Filipina actress G Tongi attended the second annual Gold Gala of Gold House in Los Angeles.
On Instagram, Sunday (May 7), G shared a photo of her with Lea and fellow Filipino artists Clint Ramos, Jose Vargas, and Broadway actress Arielle Jacobs on the Gold carpet of the said event.
“Representing @herelieslovebway at the @goldhouseco #GoldGala with @clintramos @msleasalonga @ariellejacobs @joseiswriting #represent #herelieslovebroadway,” G captioned her post.
According to Newswire, Lea is one of the recipients of the Gold Legend Award at the event in appreciation of her lifelong achievement as an Asian artist who has been recognized around the world.
Among the other Asian artists, Everything Everywhere All At Once and 2023 Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan, were also present at the Gold Gala.
Meanwhile, Lea and G, are currently working on an all-Filipino Broadway cast titled Here Lies Love.
