Actor, entrepreneur, and host Matteo Guidicelli is now a Kapuso!

Matteo inked his contract today, May 11, which was held at Seda Vertis North in Quezon City with several top executives of the network witnessing the event.

It was also announced that he will be joining the Kapuso flagship morning show Unang Hirit starting May 15.

In his speech, Matteo thanked the whole Kapuso family for their warm welcome saying, “I'd like to express my sincerest gratitude to the whole Kapuso family for welcoming me this way. It feels incredible and you have to feel it to understand it, maraming-maraming salamat. And Ma'am Annette [Gozon-Valdes] I know it's been a year, it's been a year, but parang pag-ibig lang yan 'di ba. Good things happen to those who wait kumbaga maraming salamat. Ma'am Nessa, thank you.”

He added, “And of course to my Viva family, maraming-maraming salamat. Actually, kasi concert ni Sarah [Geronimo] bukas, so talagang 100% din bukas sa Araneta. Pero, aside from that I'm very excited to embark in this new journey with [GMA] Public Affairs and with GMA and to let the Filipino story shine.”
