The all-new online music show Spotlight Music Sessions featured lounge singer, recording artist and budding songwriter Gel Aquino as she sings her original song "Hanap Ka" on Friday, May 26.
Composed by Gel herself, every lyric of her track will surely make you feel in love.
In an exclusive interview of GMANetwork.com, Gel described her song as “very sensual, sobrang in love ka, nalulunod ka sa pagmamahal.”
She also shared that her fans and listeners are the ones who inspire her to create more good music.
“Yung ibang tao. Sila yung inspirasyon ko sa pagsulat para kapag narinig nila yung song makaka-relate sila at sasabihin nila na 'this is my story,'” she said.
When asked about the singers that shaped her musical tastes, Gel mentioned, “Mga balladeer, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, 'yan sila.”
