The fight for the Miss Supranational crown starts now and the country's delegate Pauline Amelinckx is calling on Filipino pageant fans and her Instagram followers to support her on her first challenge.
In a post on her Instagram account, Pauline shared that the Miss Supranational pageant has now started, with the SUPRA Headshot as the first challenge. In the comments to the post, Pauline also outlined how her supporters can support her in the challenge and secure her spot in the Top 24.
The Miss Supranational competition starting up comes after Pauline received some hometown appreciation after visiting Bohol, where Boholanos lined the streets as Pauline took part in a motorcade.
Pauline had earlier shared her excitement about her homecoming, quoting a song about Bohol and saying it brought her to tears because it held “so much meaning and memories.” Being back in Bohol, Pauline wrote, has filled her with joy, excitement, and gratitude.
A week before her homecoming, Pauline took part in a fun run for education organized by the Manila Jaycees. In the caption to the post, Pauline shared that it was “beautiful and heartwarming” to see the “simple, collective efforts” of people making a difference. She also wrote that she felt fulfilled being part of “something bigger.”
Pauline looked back at the Miss Universe Philippines' swimsuit competition last month and shared that she had “learned to love” it as she has grown to love her body as well. Pauline reflected that self-love is “not an end-goal but a life journey with its own ups and downs.”
Pauline is set to compete in the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland on July 14.
