K-pop boy band SHINee is at its peak as of the moment and shows no signs of stopping any time soon as they make their highly-anticipated comeback, break records, and announce the release of their 15th-anniversary movie My SHINee World.

The dubbed Princes of K-pop celebrated their 15th anniversary together as a successful boy band last May 25, 2023. Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin made their debut last May 25, 2008.

Now that SHINee is stronger and more solid than ever, the group is looking back at the past 15 years and commemorating this rare achievement by releasing the film My SHINee World in theaters this September.

On SHINee's official social media pages, accompanied by an article from News Naver, the boy band revealed plans of launching My SHINee World. It is reported to be a special gift to Shawols who have been supporting and loving SHINee right from the start.

According to News Naver, the film will be presented through the lens of a Shawol so that fans all over the world can immerse themselves more in this work of art. It will also feature behind-the-scenes interviews during the preparation process of their recently held concert “SHINee World VI PERFECT ILLUMINATION,” live performances, and undisclosed content that will bring you back to the past.

The film is said to be directed by Lee Hu-bin, the man behind Netflix's The Courier Driver, and will be produced by Plus M Entertainment, the company behind TV shows such as Hunt and Crime City.

Shawols must have been feeling all the love from their favorite K-pop idols who, for 15 years, did not falter to shower them with endless support even if they were miles apart. Thank you for these past 15 years, SHINee!
