Congratulations, Rocco!
Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino was proud after he was being promoted to second lieutenant in the reserve corps of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
On Instagram, Rocco announced his promotion and shared some photos during the ceremony, which was attended by his family.
"Today I accepted the challenge of wearing a new hat, having new responsibilities , embarking on a new journey. This time with the AFP Reserve Command," he proudly wrote on the caption.
"Grateful for the many opportunities to serve our nation by using our influence for good, for hope, and to motivate."
Rocco then thanked his family and wife Melissa Gohing, who were all very supporting in his endeavor.
"Also grateful for family, my beautiful wife, who always supports me in whatever endeavor I dive into, and to my hardworking parents, whom I owe all my success to.
"I have always been a follower, but now I take on the challenge of being a true leader. Time to make life more interesting."
In October 2019, Rocco completed his basic citizen military training. Afterwards, he became a petty officer third class of the Philippine Navy Reserve Command.
