GMA Network Inc., the country's leading broadcast network, gathers the brightest stars, from up-and-coming to seasoned celebrities and A-listers in this much-awaited GMA Gala 2023.

It is rare and unique in the Philippine entertainment industry that different media entities come together on one occasion. Hence, GMA will undoubtedly present its media partners and collaborators with an unforgettable gathering night.

Aside from Kapuso stars, other celebrities in show business are expected to attend this big event, according to GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

“It might be the event of the year kasi nandiyan of course ang ating artists pero invited din lahat ng partners natin, those na naka-collaborate natin.

“So, pati 'yung mga artists that we worked with and not from GMA will also be there, so we're very excited,” she shared.

It can be recalled that GMA successfully held its first-ever GMA Thanksgiving Gala last July 2022. Asked how this year's gala is different from last year, Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo shared, “We're braver now kasi halos wala na tayo sa pandemic, so all-out ang preparations natin for this year's gala.”

“It will be an industry event, I think, because all our partners will come together. So that is very exciting, it will add more color, mas maraming artista, mas marami tayong makikita,” she added.

When it comes to the overall aesthetic and design of the event, Filipino event stylist Gideon Hermosa briefly shares some of their plans and preparations for the GMA Gala 2023.

“For this year's gala, of course super excited kami because we decided to have modern architecture as the main design and concept for this year's ball. We design 'yung booths, ceiling, 'yung everything like 'yung red carpet based on like modern architectures,“ he shared.

“But of course, to achieve that, we are actually collaborating with not really artists but we have some artisans from different provinces like I am from Tarlac, 'yung mga nearby provinces, parang we hired local artisans to actually handmade and produced for the props,” Gideon continued.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Chef Meik Brammer, he said that special international dishes will be served at the GMA Gala 2023.

“Every food speaks thousands of languages, food comes from all over the world, from Italy, from America, from Germany, and [from] all the continents,” he proudly claimed.

Aside from the glitz and glamor, the GMA Gala 2023 is also a fundraising event for the Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charitable organizations.

The red carpet of the GMA Gala 2023 will be available for streaming on Sparkle GMA Artist Center's TikTok account.
