'Where Is The Lie?' starring Royce Cabrera had its New York premiere at the Walter Reade Theater.
Kapuso actor Royce Cabrera is currently in New York to attend the screening of his film Where Is The Lie? with its director Quark Henares.
Where Is The Lie? had its New York premiere on Saturday, July 22, at the Film at Lincoln Center - Walter Reade Theater.
The premiere was introduced by Direk Quark and Royce. Afterwards, they had a question-and-answer portion from the moviegoers.
On Instagram, Royce thanked the New York-based film festival for featuring their film, and called the experience "unforgettable."
He wrote, "I would like to extend my deepest thanks to @newyorkasianfilmfestival and to everyone who made this happen. It was certainly an honor to be invited here and which seems to be an unforgettable experience for me."
Based on a real-life story, Where Is The Lie? offers a unique out-of-the-box storytelling as it tells the story of Janzen (EJ Jallorina), who becomes a target of a sexy but vicious cyberbully.
Where Is The Lie? will be shown in the Philippines as the closing film of this year's Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
