Ricky Lee was present during the red carpet premiere night of The Cheating Game, the new movie starring Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz.
The National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts commended The Cheating Game after the premiere night and said the movie "turned out to be so much more" since he did not expect all the twists coming from the romantic comedy debut film of GMA Public Affairs in collaboration with GMA Pictures.
"Maganda. I was expecting a typical rom-com, but it turned out to be so much more! Hindi ko ini-expect 'yung twist," said Ricky Lee.
The Cheating Game tells the story of Hope (Julie Anne San Jose) who breaks up with her partner and quits her job after she discovers his infidelity. Hope meets Miguel (Rayver Cruz) who becomes her willing rebound and helps her move on after he has also experienced cheating.
Directed by best-selling author Rod Marmol, with the original story by Shao Masula, The Cheating Game is in cinemas from July 26.
