Kapuso actor Mikoy Morales won big at the 19th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival as he took home the best actor trophy for the movie Tether.

In an interview with Unang Hirit, Mikoy admitted that he was feeling overwhelmed to receive a prestigious award.
He said, "Ang dami kong nararamdaman, hindi ko alam ano uunahin ko, pero I'm really thankful sa lahat ng mga tumulong at naging gabay ko papunta dito, sa paggawa ng project na 'to."
"Ang sarap sa feeling."
On Instagram, Mikoy described Tether as "the most challenging material I've dived into so far."
The story revolves around Eric (Mikoy) and Kate (Jorrybell Agoto), who after a one-night stand, discover that any kind of pain they inflict on themselves can be felt by the other person.
