Nadine Samonte is back where she truly belongs. The StarStruck season one avenger was all smiles during the Signed for Stardom event held this Friday afternoon (September 22) at GMA Network in Quezon City.
During a short interview with event hosts Rain Matienzo and Martin Javier, Nadine shared that she decided to return to GMA-7 after she had a chance encounter with Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.
In 2011, Nadine transferred to TV5. In addition, she also appeared in several projects in ABS-CBN.
She recalled, “Actually, after my third child sabi ko it's my time to shine again. So, parang 'yun 'yung time na nung nag-guesting na ako.
“Sabi ko, this is it! Ito na talaga”, Nadine said , “I know for sure nung nagkita uli kami ni Mam Annette sa isang event, sabi ko, 'I think this is the sign'.”
“I would like to say thank you, Mam Annette, Miss Joy, and Sparkle team. And GMA for giving me this opportunity again na makabalik uli ako.”
The versatile Kapuso actress also shared some advice to other newbies that they should do their “best” in every project.
Nadine explained, “Sa mga artist na katulad ko na nagsimula ng [bata pa]--- be respectful. Put your feet down, alam mo 'yun. Be humble all the time and love what you are doing.
“Give your best in everything you do, kasi, 'pag binigay mo lahat ng best mo, babalik din 'yun sa'yo ng thousand-thousand times.”
