The Miss World coronation night is set to happen two months from now.

The coming months are certainly going to be busy for local pageant fans as yet another international pageant has announced its coronation night.

The Miss World Philippines organization posted a video on its official Instagram account announcing the Miss World coronation night, which is set to be held at the ICC Delhi India on December 16, 2023.

In the caption to the post, the organization shared that the pageant will have 130 nations participating and will be a “festival of glamour, fashion, talent, sport, and beauty with a purpose.”

The Miss World pageant has certainly been making its presence felt in the country recently. Just last month, the current reigning Miss World Karolina Biewlaska visited the country for four days.

Karolina's visit started on September 20 and lasted until September 23.

Part of Karolina's welcoming committee was the country's current reigning Miss World Philippines, Gwendolyne Fourniol. Gwendolyne is one of the 130 queens looking to succeed Karolina during the coronation night on December 16.

Gwendolyne has certainly been busy building up her advocacy credentials in the lead-up to the coronation night. Back in August, Gwendolyne called for donations for her initiative, #BridgeTheGapBuildTheFuture. The initiative seeks to raise funds and provide resources for the ERDA Foundation, a non-government organization that was founded in 1974 and “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.”

Gwendolyne has also been raising funds for the ERDA Foundation's future Learning Hub in Baseco, Tondo. At the start of this year. Gwendolyne visited the site of ERDA Foudnation's Learning Hub to conduct an ocular inspection of the 25 square meter lot that will be the location of the two-story building. She shared her resolve to help build the Learning Hub on her Instagram account, writing that she would help raise funds and gather resources from different stakeholders.
