Sparkle drama actress Max Collins and Kapamilya talent Cherry Pie Picache are part of the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Firefly, a movie under GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.
The two phenomenal actresses were interviewed by 24 Oras and shared their thoughts about doing the film starring Alessandra de Rossi and Euwenn Mikaell.
Cherry Pie Picache told the Kapuso newscast that the Firefly script really blew her away. She explained, “It's a love story between a mother and a son. Pero ibang klase siya, magical 'yung visuals. I really, really love the script.”
For her part, Max said that she is looking forward to her son Skye watching this masterpiece by director Zig Dulay.
She said, “At least puwede siya manood and ganda talaga nung story. As in napaiyak ako when I read the script for the first time and maganda siya for the whole family.”
Max also talked about her role as a reporter in the Firefly movie.
“I played Gabby, isa siyang reporter and so I interview Anton Alvaro, who is played by Dingdong Dantes, about the books that he wrote. So throughout the movie, magkukuwento siya and then doon mag-a-unfold 'yung buong story.”
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes will have a special participation in the movie. Joining him are Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Epy Quizon, and Yayo Aguila.
