Join Tonton (Euwenn Mikaell) as he searches for the mythical "Island of Fireflies" in GMA Network's official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, 'Firefly!'
Firefly, GMA Network's official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival this year, has released its official poster that featured its lead stars, Alessandra De Rossi and Euwenn Mikaell.
The poster was created by Justin Besana, the same mind behind the posters of the movies Triangle of Sadness and Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan.
Firefly tells the story of Tonton (Euwenn Mikaell) as he searches the mythical "Island of Fireflies" based on the bedtime story of his mother, Elay (Alessandra De Rossi).
Also part of Firefly were Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Cherry Pie Picache, Epi Quizon, Yayo Aguila, and Max Collins. Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also has a special participation.
Since the surprise reveal of the poster, netizens could not hide their excitement to watch the film.
One user commented, "Ganda. Simple but wondrous."
Directed by Zig Dulay, Firefly opens in cinemas nationwide on December 25.
