Does Mikael have a funny bone? You will soon find out in his new comedy-serye, 'Ismol Family.'

Mikael Daez is definitely one of the luckiest actors after working on a series of successful shows in GMA. Aside from doing Midnight Express [a segment in Saksi] and Bubble Gang, Mikael believes that he still has one more talent up his sleeve. And he will show this on his new show, Ismol Family.
“Excited na ako doon. I worked with Ryan [Agoncillo] before, kasama ko sa Bubble Gang si Carla [Abellana], we've been working together,” Mikael shared.
He added, “Masaya 'yan, sitcom 'yan. So natuwa naman ako na hindi lang pala Bubble Gang [ang show ko], may Ismol Family pa ako.”
Mikael also revealed that his character in Ismol Family is nothing like the roles he previously did. For him, "Bernie" is a tough yet exciting character to portray. In fact, it's one of his most challenging to date.
Though sitcom is a popular genre in Philippine television, Mikael reassures Kapuso viewers that Ismol Family is a must-watch because of its fresh concept.
“Actually yung konsepto niya very intriguing kasi contemporary siya. Alam mo naman tayong mga Pinoy very traditional. Itong tema ng Ismol Family bago, so parang pang-modernong Pilipino,” Mikael concluded.
