Maging Sino Ka Man barbie forteza and david licauco

The Barbie Forteza and David Licauco-starrer 'Maging Sino Ka Man' will be streaming on Netflix Asia-Pacific and the Middle East starting December 10, 2023.

After the fan-favorite Maria Clara at Ibarra, another hit GMA drama series of breakout loveteam Barbie Forteza and David Licauco will land on the popular streaming service, Netflix.

The Barbie and David-starrer Maging Sino Ka Man will be available on Netflix Asia Pacific and the Middle East starting December 10, 2023.

Maging Sino Ka Man, a special limited series, is a TV adaptation of the 1991 film of the same title starring Megastar Sharon Cuneta and action star-turned-politician Robin Padilla.

The reimagined version of the iconic Filipino movie directed by Eddie Rodriguez is headlined by Barbie and David, collectively and popularly known as "BarDa." The two actors rose to fame because of their undeniable chemistry in the GMA historical portal drama Maria Clara at Ibarra, a series loosely based on Dr. Jose Rizal's novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.

Maging Sino Ka Man follows two people from two different backgrounds fated to meet and fall for each other. They share a common past that could either build or tear them apart.

Carding, played by David, is a simple man capable of crossing the line for the sake of his adopted children.

He is guilt-ridden with the loss of his brother and has vowed to bring his death to justice.

Carding's world turns upside down when he meets Dino, played by Barbie, a person with a complicated past. Dino is only a disguise of Monique, an heiress to a massive business empire who is on the run from people who want to harm her.

Juancho Triviño, popularly known as Padre Salvi in Maria Clara at Ibarra, is also part of the stellar cast of the GMA adaptation of Maging Sino Ka Man, bringing life to Gilbert Arnaiz, the notorious character of Edu Manzano.

The special limited series also comprises some of the country's most respected artists in film and television: E.R. Ejercito, Jeric Raval, Jean Saburit, Juan Rodrigo, Antonio Aquitania, and Jean Garcia.

Breathing life into equally important roles in Maging Sino Ka Man are some of Sparkle's most sought-after stars Faith Da Silva, Mikoy Morales, and Rain Matienzo.

Completing the star-studded cast is the special participation of Al Tantay and Tonton Gutierrez.

Maging Sino Ka Man is made possible under the supervision of GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable; Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy; Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese; Senior Program Manager Camille D. Hermoso; and Executive Producer Darling Pulido-Torres.

The creative team behind this much-awaited series is composed of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan; Senior Writers Benjamin Benson Logronio and John Kenneth de Leon; Head Writer Mark Duane Angos; Brainstormer Louize Andrei Al-Shehri.

Maging Sino Ka Man is under the helm of esteemed director Enzo Williams.
